PRESCRIBE FIT - PRESS RELEASE

AZ ORTHO is partnering with Prescribe FIT to provide virtual orthopedic care

Scottsdale, Arizona — AZ ORTHO is offering a new virtual lifestyle health solution,  Prescribe FIT, to extend our services beyond the office and further our commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive orthopedic care.

Prescribe FIT is a proven lifestyle program—not a fad diet or short-lived workout plan—that guides orthopedic patients to improve their health at home by focusing on the root causes of their musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.

With small changes to nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle, Prescribe FIT will serve as a virtual extension of our practice to help patients decrease weight, reduce pain, improve mobility, and better prepare for and recover from surgery.

Prescribe FIT is also covered by insurance through Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance carriers. Our team will help patients confirm their benefits eligibility and financial responsibility prior to enrollment.

How it works:

1.  Once enrolled, patients are matched with a dedicated Care Coordinator from Prescribe FIT who will call weekly to offer personalized support and recommendations that support healthy lifestyle changes.

2.  Each week, patients will set goals to gradually increase their physical activity, as well as learn about healthier eating.

3.  Patients will be provided with a Bluetooth scale that pairs with a smart device to send daily body weight readings to their orthopedic physician.

AZ ORTHO is committed to offering high-quality surgical and non-surgical care for injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. That is why we are partnering with Prescribe FIT to offer their proven at-home lifestyle program.
