Aleja Armenta, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at AZ Ortho in Peoria, Arizona. Aleja specializes in hip and knee injuries, assisting in surgical procedures, and aiding patients with their pre and post-operative care. 

Aleja attended Arizona State University (ASU) and graduated in 2020, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. While attending ASU, she also worked as an EMT at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She then obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northern Arizona University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2023. 

She holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. 

Aleja has a background in total hip and knee arthroplasty, providing exceptional care whether it is operative or non-operative treatment of hip and knee arthritis. During her PA training, she found her passion in Orthopedics and strives to improve daily. Her goal is to assist patients in getting back to their daily activities and helping improve their quality of life. 

In her free time, Aleja enjoys traveling, boating with her family, going to the gym, and spending time with her friends and family.
