Elise Wood, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at AZ Ortho in Scottsdale, Arizona. Elise specializes in hip, shoulder, and knee injuries, assisting in surgical procedures, and aiding patients with their pre- and post-operative care.

Elise attended the University of Utah, graduating in 2011 with her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry (minor). Following her undergraduate studies, she went on to complete her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona in 2015. 

She holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. Elise was also involved in several volunteer efforts, including providing health care to underserved populations in Phoenix and participating in homeless outreach programs.  Elise has several years of experience in orthopedic care, and as a physician assistant, she is happy to counsel patients on better ways to improve their experience after procedures. She possesses valuable knowledge in a variety of specialties, including joint reconstruction and replacement and wound care.
